The company operates from a purpose built site at 12-14 Macrae Avenue, Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. With over 2000 sq metres of extensively equipped factory space, Mouats can offer the most diverse range of engineering services. Mouats run twelve, service vehicles, a purpose built mobile workshop, two forklifts and a tandem trailer for the transporting of those larger or heavier items up to 2.5 tonnes. Mouats Engineering are qualified. Such is the confidence of the welding inspectors in the capabilities of Mouats Engineering to weld virtually any type of weldable material including titanium, 'hastelloy', aluminium and stainless steel. Mouats ability to comply with the stringent regulations for the welding of pipelines carrying volatile materials such as petrol, gas and fertiliser acids reflects their service to business in these fields. Mouats have the capacity to thread pipe up to and including 4 inched in diameter, thread bolts up to 32mm, and have a 'punch and shear' capable of applying a 70 tonne force.Mouats is committed to safety. In our workshop or out on-site, Mouats staff achieve a safe working environment using effective communication, safe operating procedures, and the right equipment for the job. As well as observing relevant codes of practice and industry standards, Mouats staff regularly undertake client induction and comply with client safety requirements to safeguard personnel and property. While Mouats are welders and fabricators of steel they are also project engineers. Specialising in design Mouats have produced and assembled a diverse range of machinery. From fertilizer conditioning equipment for export to Thailand to specialised concrete mould development. Even a roasting Bar-B-Que for grilling mussels at the Blues Brews and Bar-B-Ques festival at Mount Maunganui.

Design
Mouats offers its customers a leading design service. From developing an idea, to creating a product. In consultation with the client, new or existing designs can be adapted to suit the clients changing needs.
Mouats Engineering have the experience to advise their clients on the most efficient and cost effective solutions to fulfill their requirements. Design is carried out in house either manually or with the assistance of the latest computer technology.
Installation
The engineers at Mouats are versatile and highly experienced so installation is carried out by the same team that manufactured the product. This arrangement avoids the communication problems that can arise between the manufacturer and the installer. Mouats Engineering will of course manufacture or repair to order, allowing the client to install his own equipment.
Machinery
Mouats will install, commission and maintain new and existing machinery to ensure they operate at optimum efficiency. They have years of experience to draw from and can also advise clients on the most cost effective installations.
Maintenance
Mouats takes pride in every installation carried out. They offer an ongoing maintenance service. This ensures the level of service is maintained and that any disruption to the customers business is kept to a minimum.
